Northern Lights Aid

Northern Lights Aid (NLA) is a grassroots volunteer organization based in the town of Kavala in northern Greece. The purpose of the organization is to improve the quality of life of refugees residing in the country.
We are looking for volunteers for our various projects in the field in Kavala with a desire to do something meaningful for displaced people.

NLA assists about 1100 residents in the asylum reception center in the former military camp Perigiali in Kavala, but also offers support to Greek low-income families and Ukrainian refugees in the city. Our base of operations is located outside the camp and is designed as a safe space where families and individuals can get a break from everyday life and access various activities and basic necessities.
