RESCUE A DOG: Foster a stray dog

Greek Paws is a Swiss non-profit, currently facilitating the adoption of stray dogs from Greece to Switzerland. Stray dogs in Greece often live in terrible conditions and we cooperate and support the work of different shelters.

We are expanding our activities by developing a network of foster homes and are looking for people who would like to foster a dog.

Your profile:

- You love dogs and have a lot of time, energy, and love to give to a dog.

- You have experience with rescue dogs or you are willing to learn.

- You have the budget that is necessary to take care of a dog (food, etc.).

- You live in Switzerland and are above 18 y.o.

What is fostering:

- Being patient and present: rescue dogs have often been through a lot and need attention. They might destroy things or be extremely shy or afraid of you at first.

- You would need to provide food, a cosy place for the dog, and have plenty of time for education.

- You are making the dog ready for its forever home.

Why foster?

- You are saving a life!

- We take care and help with all administrative questions.

Don't hesitate to reach out in case you have any questions!
